If you're looking for a simple fantasy system, this will give you what you are looking for.
If you're looking for a meaty system though, this isn't for you. Everything from "skill" rolls, magic and other actions are broad and vague and you will probably have a lot of hand waving of rules. There is no definitive list of skills (called "Specialisms") which I understand the decision for but having a recommended list for easy reference is always nice.
I gave one star for putting in the time to craft and write a system, one star for accomplishing the goal of converting a system into faithful but more robust system for a recommended setting and one star for some neat ideas in the setting. I personally prefer meatier systems but as a simple fantasy game this will get you started and there is plenty of potential for GM additions/tweaks.
