Left a review on 100 things to discover on a near future wasteland where I mention this product as well. Both items are great quick references for fast and easy random items for a post apoc style game. Under a dollar in the US for both items, under 50p if your in the UK, absolutely fantastic.

Interesting mix of items. But yes, I can see the wisdom of the list, especially if you're walking around in a post-apocalyptic zombie town.

This is a 1-page list of useful gear - the sort of stuff you would find in a quick-e-mart, or a store that sells hiking gear.

I focused on the wrong thing on the title. I saw - "Loot Off Of Bodies" and "Post-Apoc" & through that - "when you find a dead body you find a story", especially in a Post-Apoc Setting.

However, there is no "context", nothing that says anything about the body. I expected something like - "worn but well cared for... ", or broken, or almost used up, etc. Something that says "post-apoc". Or, something that stirs emotions like "faded pictures of a woman with a sad smile", like that last a picture of Sara Connors from The Terminator. It is cliche, but it will catch the attention of Players.

It is all just "utilitarian" stuff to help the looters (PC's) slightly. I expected some inspirational, cool stuff. Really, I could go to the local truck stop, and write down a list items with more RPG potential. Actually, there is stuff there that would totally confuse and intrigue the type of Players I have, and their characters too.

This list is not very expensive, and if you don't have a hiking store near you, or an AREI Catalog, it can help you with some usefully random gear to give to the Players.

But if you can make something like "a ring" (one of the listings) intriguing to a PC, then you already have enough imagination to do without this list.

Overall Score: 4 Utility: 4 (Great for a quick reference or looting / modern items) Artistic Appeal: 3 (More utilitarian than aesthetic) Cost: 5 (Under a dollar always a 5)

Comments: A quick reference chart for the GM on the go. Arranged alphabetically, so there is not much of a surprise if you’ve gone through it a few times. Very useful for quick loot that isn’t game-breaking.
