Ultramodern4 is a product for a Wizards of the Coast system that is better than Wizards could have done. Designed for 4th edition D&D, UM4 gives the same (f not better) balance, ease of use, dynamic play, and fun that 4th edition gives, while expanding concepts of 4e in ways that add wonderfully to the system. The Ladder system allows for wonderful customization and blending of classes, to the point that yes, you really can play pretty much any Modern (or Future) archetype that you want. Honestly, my only complaint is that there isn't more material for UM4.
