An excellent adventure! Good story line, good plot, and well thought out. The only problem I had with this module, is that it does not include a map of the village. While the village map is not required, it would have been very nice, as the adventure is designed to offer a base of operations for the PC's to use, albeit one with a hostile, natural environment (special weather rules are included at the end of the module). The village is exceptionally wealthy, and this makes it an interesting place, but it also has little in the way of basic adventurer resources, due to its isolated nature.
As a side note, if you like this adventure, you will enjoy the next one in the series, "War in Midwinter", which DOES include a map of the village of Midwinter (see my review of "War in Midwinter," for further details)!
While I do not play D&D 3.X, I found it easily adaptable to 2nd Ed. AD&D, which I do play. If you are looking for a good adventure, easily adaptable to your game/world setting, I highly recommend this one. At this price, I found it quite strong, even though the map was left out -- one pip down for the missing map...
