Mutants & Masterminds: Villainous Archetypes 1 another in the Green Ronin Archetypes series of ten new superpowered archetypes for the superheroic M&M game. Archetypes (in the M&M sense) are packages of statistics, skills and powers to simulate various ?standard? types of characters from the superheroic / comic book genre.

As is usual for these products from Green Ronin, each of the Archetypes comes with a strong full color illustration that conveys the sense of the Archetype?s abilities and style. The characters range in Power Level from 7 (above normal) to 16 (immensely strong), as well as one power Level X (plot device) villain. While none of the characters are named, each is easily recognizable as a classic character from the comics. Each has an introductory paragraph, a paragraph of variations and capers, including three adventure seeds using the archetype.

Among the character types explored in this archive are: the Arrogant Paragon (PL 15), the classic superhuman gone bad, he is an ?overman? after all, why should he not rule the world? The Criminal Prankster (PL 10), her jokes will really slay you, really. The Great Hunter, and what prey could be more challenging then a superhero? The Unscrupulous Billionaire (PL 7) with the greatest superpower of all, huge amounts of cash. And, a threat so powerful it rates Power Level X, the World Devourer.

A wonderful collection of villainous character types, ready to be dropped into any M&M campaign.
