A good backgrounder for any GM wanting to set an adventure/campaign in the early modern European setting. Gives you a better understanding of the roles that various character classes would play and addresses the issue that in this world, magic has gone away and the rise of science / industrialization is just a century or two in coming. Wars of religion, Thirty Years War, Elizabethian England - these are all covered.<br><br> <b>LIKED</b>: Really sets the stage for historical RPGing in this era.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Scan quality wasn't great.
