Fun generator. Will spark many an idea whether the Game Master is cruel, short of ideas (dumb), insanely whimsical. good time should be had by all. Any dissenters an exit the sir lock ... ;o)

These two initial sets have raised the bar very high and are very good value for money. Permes, the Polish based publisher has thousands of beautifully crafted cardboard figures in non-garish colours in their inventory. This Set, part of their World of Fantasy Range, highlights the gorgeously coloured and outfitted Wood Elf Warriors in ambush. It provides more figures than my card table can accommodate, but they are so useful, not just for Fantasy Wargaming, but Fantasy Roleplaying too. With scenery they will make up as lovely dioramas too. All figures have good poses. There is a fair variety of figures including specialists. I look forward to gaming with them.
Not being a Polish speaker, I am very glad that the rest of these products will, hopefully, be available in DriveThruRPG. These are Elves, but the Polish site has Dwarves, Monsters, Fantasy armies, Roman, Persians, Greek, Dark Ages and Medieval, Renaissance, some Napoleonic, Wild West, Samurai, Swashbucklers and Pirates, and other assorted offerings. I wish Permes Carboard Models well.
'Tak!' or 'Thank you' - one of the very few bits of Polish that I've picked up... ;o)

Good quality map. Enough details to spark imagination, but not enough to railroad it. Nice for RPG, roleplayers who like a bit of empire building, a la Momgoose's excellent Runquest Empires ( I or II ), or wargame strategy grunts searching for new conquests... ;o).

Thank you John for taking the time to leave a review; it's very much appreciated.
I really enjoyed working on the entire range of "Turtleback Reef Maps"; the intricacy of the islands and vibrant colors really lead to a great result, I think!

Quite a 'random' little generation tool, as my grandchildren would say. I I like its speed and its variety. It will not give a perfectly formed and quirky character, but that should always be the GM's role. However it will churn out enough NPCs to keep the players reeling on their heels. Well worth the money. Could be of use in inventing characters for a short story, setting up character conflict etc.

Good action figures with variety of colours. Simple, restricted area makes sure that figures fit over a standard base, rather than projecting into the space used by another figure. The style is Elven in Space, or Bavarian Napoleonic with attitude.. ;o) Nice to see these. Now we need some more heroes. ..

Over a hundred, superb figures, for roleplaying, skirmish, or even wargames, are provided by the ever prolific, Arion Games. There is definitely something for everyone here, in these historic figures, not just for users of the ROLEMASTER ROME RPG system. Just look at the quality of the posing and rendering in the figures offered. Try zooming in, on the pdf, to 300% to check the detail which is included. Everyone is a character, and may well inspire a RPG session in itself. Look out, fellow Celts, Germans, Greeks and assorted barbarians ... your days are numbered .. ;o)

For the Three Musketeer or Swashbuckler fan, this is a reasonably useful map to have. Do not expect to zoom in for ever. There is a limit to the detail provided in the scan, just like Google Earth. An annotated Places of Interest list would have been nice, but an hour or two on the internet will unearth enough for a casual RPG encounter.
I found that the French mapping authority, I.G.N. have two scanned DVDs of maps from the countrywide survey carried out by cartographer Cassini on behalf of the king. Since most of rural France has not changed much since the 1650s, miniature wargamers and roleplayers have lots of material with which to play. The map of Paris is just the start.

Another scanned entry of a former TSR publication. Useful to have if your original is lost or has fallen apart. For $5 / ?3.50 you get a wonderful resource for whatever SCIFI system you use. Ideas, images, creative nudges, and lots of pages. A book to dip into though, unless you have a SD campaign up and running already.
The only problem that I have found with the TSR scanned editions, as a whole, is that if there are a lot of images on the original, it can crawl up the Adobe Acrobat browser when you move pages, even with 512Mb RAM on board. However I do have an old Pentium III3 600 as my net machine, so that may have something to do with it.
Enjoy!

This book provides a consistent creation for a fantasy medieval Europe. However large or small, you wish that creation to be, this book, allows you to follow your creative muse and provides plenty of ideas for your campaign along the way. The original CHIVALRY and SORCERY RPG provided a smaller version over 25 years ago. This is so much better.
