Alien Planets (sample)
Publisher: Wydraz
by Daniel G. [Verified Purchaser]

It's pretty. Better art than I could do, at any rate. Wish there was some potential backstory for each planet available as a resource.

PARANOIA A1 The Computer is Your Friend
Publisher: Ultraviolet Books
by Daniel G. [Verified Purchaser]

I'm probably one of only three people in the universe to consider myself a fan of the Paranoia series, but I was really psyched to see the old material that I had long ago misplaced become available again in electronic form.

If your RPG group is like mine and would rather just goof out than get involved in some intricate plot or precise combat, this is an ideal system for you.

It is exactly what it claims to be, no more, no less - a five page inspiration tool for when you're stumped as a GM or a writer (I've used it as the latter)...genre mashing is fun!

Introduction to the Star Fleet Universe: Prime Directive and Roleplaying
Publisher: Amarillo Design Bureau
by Daniel G. [Verified Purchaser]
Date Added: 11/22/2012 19:07:26

Essentially, you have to treat it as fanfic, as there is soooo much outside of the canon here. I mean, seriously, it even includes the CroMags as an alien race...aren't they from SLIDERS?

Still, you can get some fun stuff out of this, and for free I suppose I can't complain.

The best part might be the catalog of other GURPs Star Trek books at the end. :)

Creator Reply:
Many times we hear that our products are not "Star Trek" and that is why we provided this free introduction to the Star Fleet Universe. While we have a license with Paramount to produce the Star Fleet Universe, it does diverge from Trek canon as much of the history of the SFU was created during the real-life time period after TOS and TAS but before TNG. We hope that this free look will help people make the right choice for their gaming tables so they are not disappointed. The Cromargs are their own species and are part of the Klingon Empire -- and they are just one set of aliens you'll read about in this quick guide. We hope that others will enjoy this book and give our Universe a whirl! We think you'll enjoy it. Jean ADB, Inc. Marketing Director
