This is a fantastic, genre-free, system-free product: just maps of islands which can be used for any game system, allowing the GM to get on with the important stuff, like fleshing out the adventure, without having to draw a map of the island!

The scan is very good quality. Each page features a large hex, with smaller hexes inlaid, and the island(s) drawn out in very good detail. The island sizes, and shapes, vary considerably. This is one of the many JG gems. Don't wait to download this jewel, if you think you might want it... Several years back, WotC had scans of nearly all of the 1st & 2nd Ed. AD&D modules, and boxed sets, available for purchase, and download -- I waited too long to pick up the ones I wanted, and now they are gone. Don't let these Judges Guild jewels slip away. Cheers!

This is an excellent resource for a number of different settings and for virtually every genre. I've incorporated these maps into my fantasy, sci-fi, and modern military campaigns. For the price, you just can't go wrong if you can find a use for hex-mapped islands. The charts at the beginning of book are useful for a number of different settings, too. Overall, I consider this to be one of the best RPG purchases I've made online. My only complaint is that the map on page 27 has some inexplicable shading on the top half of the page, and fooling around with the settings doesn't fix the problem.

This is just a book filled with small island areas mapped on the JG hex grid. It has really limited use, but what do you want for 2.25?

Scanned from the early Judges Guild book. I have no complaints and for the price it was nice to be able to pick this up and be able to print as I need it. The generation charts are Old School. Heck, the whole thing is Old School and that's what makes it so cool. If you're playing OD&D or Basic D&D (Holmes or Moldvay) you should be able to drop this material right into your game with no problems.
