This is a great game, it combines many elements from other platoon level skirmish games ( like force on force, stargrunt, bolt action , disposable heroes ), but the mechanics are very clean, cleaner IMHO.

Word of caution, infantry units get three actions.. if one of the actions of your infantry unit is not "hide, infiltrate, or take cover" you are most likely doing something wrong and your casualty ration will be high. First time I played the game I didn't pay attention to that, everything died quickly, I said this game is not for me and shelved it. Years later I decided to give it another tried, this time we made sure to be using those actions to the fullest and since then I cannot see myself leaving these rules behind...

They are truly great and if you get WWII and future combat you can do anthing from early XXth century to moderns and sci fi games...

I cannott recommend this game enough.

Un jeu très bien écrit et sans approximation, ce qui permet une compréhension immédiate des règles. Les listes sont bien pensées et semblent équilibrées.

J'aime beaucoup la gestion des véhicules et le faible nombre de règles spéciales. Un autre de ses points forts est l'absence de renvoi à d'autres pages, en dehors de la liste de compétences que l'on retrouve dans le QRS.

Chaque unités à toutes ses données techniques dans sa description, ce qui évite pas mal de feuilletage et donc un gain de temps.

Bref, une très bonne alternative aux règles à la mode.

Ich finde das Regelwerk Victory Decision gut gelungen. Es ist einfach, nimmt viele Streitstellen sonstiger TT-Regelwerke und hat dennoch taktische Tiefe. Lediglich die Aktion des konzentrierten Feuers lässt für mich die Frage offen, warum man überhaupt normal schießen sollte?

This looks to be a very great game. Having read through the rules they have some awesome mechanics including an innovative initiative sequence and a great use of commanders. (I love the fact that they even have rules for medics) One of the nice features is the download comes with both a full color rule book as well as a printer friendly version which make printing the entire book affordable while still being able to view some great photos. While there are a few sections that are a bit confusing, by and large, the rules are clear and concise. While it is designed for single based minis the rules provide an easy and very clear way to use bases that contain multiple figures (such as are used for Flames of War) Finally, the price point is great. I have a large collection of flames of war and for 12.99 you get an entirely new game with a new feel that can use the same figures.
