Very interesting start for the adventures of a lovely character. More adult content wil be wellcome.

Obvoously intended as a hook to lure people to buy a new series, this starter story has no substance just an example of what to expect from future artwork.

You can't sell a story without starting to tell a story and there is none of that here.

Interesting start for this cheesecake character.

The art is amazing done by several Top Cow legendary artists. But you can't deny its really meant to heighten the young male blood with its "voyuerism tendency" when the wind blows under her skirt thing.

What is interesting though is....yes, she is started as an eye candy but the later take on her character improved and gave her more substance not only in character but also her presence at the Top Cow Universe.

I've read the whole TPB of this run of Aphrodite, so I feel I can comment with some knowledge. The art, as MattB below (above?) states, is stunning. The story, however, really lets it down. A lot. It's an utterly pedestrian, archetypal story arc that we've seen done dozens of times before, with barely any variation. You'll figure out what's going on, as Matt says, early in the arc, and spend your time from then-on hoping it develops something new. It doesn't.

So, admire the art, read the story if you want, then go back and look at the pictures again...

There's a new arc underway, currently, that looks more promising. Fingers crossed...

While the artwork is stunning, and I know it is only a zero issue, it really has no intriguing hook. This is really just the first few pages from issue one, I guess, where an actually story would be. It is worth downloading, reading, and deleting, but that's about it. And she has to be a robot simply because of that wedgie.

As a zero issue this comic is higly interesting. I realy liked the drawings and I'm very excited to find this dated comic from 90's now. David Wohl creates an interesting setting with so few pages. Dave Finch's artwork is brilliant. Yes there are a few scantly clad ladies but this comic is very promising.
