Wish we'd have stuff like this with Red Box!! :)

I bought this after trialing the basic freebie, which I made some basic crypt tiles and an inn interior with to play a bash n grab game of Pathfinder with

With a bit of imagination you can create any urban or dungeon environment - you get three floor setting (2 wood and one flagstone)

You really are only constrained by your imagination. So far I've knocked up floorplans for The Fatman's Feedbag for the RotRL adventure path and a woodsman's hut/hovel/gravedigger's cottage.. I'm going to walk away from my computer after posting this and reopen the program on a rainy day!

You can't do EVERYTHING with it but one of the other possibilities is to print out multiple copies of the beds, chairs, tables etc and make you own floor plan tiles as well.

Well worth it!!

The T-Builder line uses PDF layers and form controls to let you lay various bits on top of a basic background. It’s a little bit like using Dundjinni, only much more constrained. The Mansion pack lets you place various kinds of furniture on one of three floor styles (two wood, one stone). There is no shortcut—or at least I could not find one—for filling the entire area with your chosen floor, so it takes 108 clicks (3 per square x 36 squares) to fill in the entire tile with a light brown floor. The system is not difficult to use once you get the hang of it, but it’s slow and cumbersome even for a skilled user. The results are serviceable, but not nearly as nice as those produced by an artist creating a specific tile. Still, the ability to customize is welcome, and it’s kind of fun to play with. The instructions try to help users master the T-Builder system, but the English composition/translation is occasionally very poor. You can’t save your work; this is not the publisher’s fault (and the publisher warns about this in the instructions, even highlighting the statement in red), but it does highlight the inherent limitations of publishing such a tool as a PDF.

A very easy method of creating quick maps for RPGs that use miniatures. One drawback is that the maps cannot be saved for future use (though anyone familiar with print-to-PDF utilities should be able to work around this).

Overall, this is a reasonably priced tool for making quick custom miniature maps.

Unfortunately I purchased this item without knowing it does not have a Save feature. The ads for the Bundle or the individual products do not state that. But luckily there are screen capture programs to solve that problem, otherwise I would have given T Builder only 1 star. The graphics are good, the process of using the program is not great, but the final product looks decent. However, I don't think it's worth buying. I bought it, and I'm sorry I did. I do not recommend T-Builder

Thank you for your review! I am sorry that you disappointed in this product! We updated the descriptions to all products. The PDF includes many interactive widgets. If you don’t use it for printing but you want to save your work, then we suggest to use a "print to file" plug-in or a screen capture program. Thank you for your tolerance and understanding!
