Don't think of using this soundscape to score a battle against a horde of vampires. It's creepy enough for that, but too slow and, in some ways, peaceful and hypnotic. Imagine it instead as playing under a scene where your PCs have to infiltrate or spy on a council of vampires or similar creatures, or perhaps under a scene of exploration in a crypt where the vampires are still asleep … for now. This soundscape makes effective use of a melodic line played on what sounds to me like a harpsichord, bass strings, and vague vocal effects, all blending into an effective presentation.

Harpsichord is all I can say. How can that be bad? It starts with the rather typical harpsichord melody you would expect. It brings in some strings and plucking. I actually think it may be better suited for an elven kingdom or some other regal atmosphere over vampires. It does take a bit of a darker turn at the end, so I won't say it's not useful for what it suggests. I'm just not positive I'd come up with the title.

This is a wonderful piece of atmospheric music. The sounds feels very medieval, perfect for meeting with ancient vampires. The piece is just over 8 minutes long and loops seamlessly, so there aren't any gaps in sound to break the mood. This won't be useful for scenes dealing with vampires from modern times, but that doesn't detract from it in any way.

Decent although not terribly "vampire" evoking.

I like the track, and the harpsichord is a pretty cool choice to evoke a feeling of an antiquated setting. Overall it's quite subtle and subdued which makes it excellent as a background track for a scene involving intrigue, political machinations, or maybe even a cat-&-mouse game. However, there's nothing in the track that at all suggests vampires - it simply doesn't feel sinister, dark, or dangerous. For the price it's a good buy, but not if you're expecting something to make your hair stand on end or look to see what's creeping up behind you to suck your blood.
