OK, this is a great set.

You get three rooms, one staircase/hallway, and a hidden treasure chamber.

The details are nice and evoke the right atmosphere for a hidden lair, and there are enough little extras in the artwork that will make players take their time to explore the rooms.

The artwork is more of the same, awesome, Dungeon Floorplans-style that we see in the rest of the Inked Adventures series.

I can easily see this working well with the Basic Set...or as a hidden room under the Chapel (I knew those Templars were up to no good. Never trust a Holy Warrior.)

Once again, BilliamBabble brings his own style of artwork to the table, and this time, he has a holding cell and various rooms.

The ONLY thing that I didn't like about this particular map was I prefer the doors to be 3D. You CAN place a 3D door over his 2D doors, but that might look... meh.

With that MINOR complaint, the set is as visually stunning as the rest of his gorgeous work!

This is good for an add-on or a stand-alone map.

Buy it! Download It! Summon it!

This is a great set of room tiles done in a classic, old-school RPG art style. The set includes rooms,

This set includes three rooms and two passageways for a warlock's lair. All of the tiles are done in an art style reminiscent of the (better) illustrations in the classic RPG rulebooks of the 70s and 80s, and the colors are bright and eye-catching.

I run a lot of RPGs for young people, and I think this set would be perfect for playing fantasy RPGs with kids, or with any group of gamers who appreciate that classic look.

A product like this will live or die on the strength of its art, and these sets by Inked Adventures are right up my alley. These are not hyper-detailed textures or simple cut-and-paste jobs. The art is hand drawn by the pseudonymous "Billiam Babble", who gives it a funky old-school feel. The tiles have clean lines and are high enough in contrast that they look good in both color and greyscale, and the movement grid is worked into the design rather than being overlaid on top.

Inked Adventures: Evil Summonings is a supplemental pack. Much smaller than the Basic Pack, it presents a four-room mini-map featuring a summoning room (is that circle inscribed in blood?) with a cell off to one side. Behind a heavy door is the warlocks room, with four-poster bed, bookshelf, desk, and stacks of tomes. A secret concealed alcove holds two treasure chests (one decorated with skulls), more books, and a pair of dubious-looking sacks.

All in all, these are some great, high value packages if you like the art style (there's a free sample if you want to see what it looks like). I'm glad I was sent these as a review copy, because I had no idea they were out there, and I'll definitely be watching for more Inked Adventures in the future.
