This is a complete game in 64 pages! It is a quick, rules-light (B/X D&D level), but detailed enough for a campaign. The author also wrote Wild West Cinema, and it is essentially the exact same game, translated to d20.
The game uses standard polyheral dice (d4-d6-d8-d10-d12-d20) and 12 attributes as de-facto skills. Attributes are used for skill resolution and determining movement speed, initiative, to hit, and hit die type. There are no classes, however you get a special ability every level which helps you to create unique characters (or emulate western archetypes). Characters are level based, with the expectation that they top out around level 5 or 6 (all characters start out 0-level, so really there are 6 or 7 levels).
It follows most of the rule theory from B/X or Swords & Wizardry, so if you know your OSR D&D, you've got this.
Equipment lists are short, but detailed. Weapons are grouped by type ("Long barreled pistol", "pocket pistol", "rifle", "shotgun" etc.) for damage, range, etc.
There are great rules for showdowns that make them deadly. Even a 5th level character could be killed by a very lucky shot from a 1st level character.
Like B/X, the game is incredibly easy to hack. Creating additional Special Abilities or house rules are a snap.
If you like OSR type games, and like the western genre, this is the game for you.
