This gives you 5 new character classes that add a lot to the ones given in the dT&T rules. These are The Brute (STR heavy), The Defender (CON), The Trickster (LCK), The Swashbuckler (SPD) and The Tinker (INT).

The first 4 are all very much of the "Hey, that's neat! Why didn't I think of that?" type and are worth buying this on their own, especially as the ideas are very precisely and concisely explained, but the last class, The Tinker, is a very clever idea that adds another dimension to the game.

The Tinker introduces an alternative system to Magic, with gizmos on place of spells, limited by the Tinker's INT attribute. The steampunk feel, and the subtle humour (I love the glow-torch) almost make this a work of art. You don't need to play T&T, or even want to play it, to appreciate the thought and humour that has been put into these devices.

Worth buying just for the read but, having put together a Swashbuckler and a Defender tonight, and rolled up a Tinker without devices (as yet), I am really looking forward to seeing how well these guys work in the 'real' T&T world.

Well I think it's great. Certainly got me thinking about possibilities beyond what's provided in the Elaborations section of the DT&T rules book. A little tinkering to bring it in to line with current DT&T mechanics -- but not much -- and you're set. Speaking of which, I love the idea of the Tinker detailed in this PDF. Kudos for that one. Nicely done.

This little book certainly fills a niche in 7.5e T&T. The swashbuckler in particular is a useful archetype for expanding the game. I bought this pdf because a buddy of mine almost insists upon playing "artificer" type characters, and the Tinkerer fills that roll. The problem is the list of devices for the Tinkerer leaves a lot to be desired. Guidelines on translating spells into devices would be nice. That being said, I hope to see more T&T products from Postmortem.

This is a relatively short set of additional character Types for Tunnels and Trolls. It is designed for use with the 7th edition recently produced by Ken St Andre and published by Fiery Dragon Publications. It could be used with earlier editions of the game without much work. It provides the details for a Specialist Type (T&T has Types not classes) for each of Strength, Constituition, Speed, Luck and Intelligence.

The classes are well designed and well balanced. They fit onto a single page in each case except the Tinker (Intelligence specialist). The Tinker has several pages devoted to the Heath Robinson style devices that they can craft.

There is some attractive artwork inside. Despite it being short it is still good value for money for the price being charged. It certainly provides options for more types of character for the game. Recommended for those looking for more T&T , and for those who are fans of 7th edition.
