Noticed the Kickstarter when it was launched and supported this project. Never had any regrets. Rules are simple yet not simplistic. This book is all You need to play the game for multiple fun sessions. If You want to, as I did and do, You can add the advanced rules and enjoy the numerous support, especially the miniatures. I love those and look forward to many many more. Your choice! I have just added the colour print version to my collection and look forward to receiving it. This is a nice set of "classic" Greys. They not only fit sci-fi based campaigns but can be used in pulp settings (among my favourites) and weird/mystery settings. The supplied UFO can even be used without the alien crew in pulp settings (again), weird war settings and/or metahuman (supers) settings. Very versatile! A nice set to have.

At asking price this is more of a gift than just a very good deal! Clear concise rules & excellent art! Then again: art is always excellent on Dave Graffam Models ;-) Don't forget to pick up the free expansion and enjoy! I did and I'll be along for further developments.

Here You get the bones to built a monster of a campaign that will keep a group of gamers busy for quite a while. The suggestions for fleshing out the core adventure can easily be converted to new or further adventures. The NPCs provided can also be used for similar adventures. Personally I would have preferred some statistics for the other coin-bearers. But since they are introduced as plyable templates others might prefer to make up the statistics for themselves. Statistics are supplied for the main adversary though and Li-Ming Jade is worthy of being made into a recurring threat to any PC-group venturing into the asian seas. So what is the downside? No flying boat! How can You have an international pulp campaign without a flying boat? But I'm pretty sure there will be a supplement in 2010 featuring a flying boat! Still even without a flying boat I heartily recommend this product and suggest You consider joining the... (well it's secret so I can't name it)

When it's about Starships (Spaceships / Spacecraft or whatever you like to call them) it has to be about variety. And that's what you'll find here! Different sizes, shapes and colours! What You make of it depends only on your imagination. Concerning the gripe I read elsewhere about missing instructions I can say two things: 1-these miniatures are so easily constructed that instructions seem superfluous 2-if you really want instructions, they are available for free (just read the product information) If you want more Spacecraft of an excellent design I recommend the Pulp Sci-Fi set!
