It is an April Fools day joke. temper your expectations.

Admittedly, a bit of a "joke" product (in the sense of "writing about god-level sex escapades..."), the Scroll of Swallowed Darkness offer players some non-combat ideas and options for games. Oh, and a few combat ones, too. You get the sense-from the editing of it-that there is a larger book out there, and I'd love to see it. Not just because I'm some sort of pervert (I am, but that's not the point...), but because the scale of the book gives details of the Exalted universe that expansion can only offer more options to players and Storytellers.

Would love to see more about the Swallowing Darkness martial arts style, mind you...

Sadly, this isn't porn.

Instead, it is more or less serious look at sexuality in creation. Typicaly of Exalted line, game mechanics and charms are discussed. And of course, there are the obligatory dirty pictures, one gay – for those of you sensitive to that – and others featuring simple female/male-female nudity. The art is of usual high quality in pseudo-manga style. There is also one page sex scene – I actually amused a lady friend of mine with flash erotica based on that story. She quite liked it.

In any case, this product is good if you ever wanted to run hentai Exalted campaign or you like to indulge in immature sexual jokes. Not much use for it otherwise. I would have wanted something a bit longer and in-depth that didn't look-like April's fool joke (oh wait... right), but the overall quality is good, so I give it a B.

This product was absolutely hilarious, well worth the full price of 99 cents. It makes for an excellent joke, and is great for poking fun at the players.

I've heard some people suggest that this should be expanded into a full supplement. It would be interesting if done in a serious manner, for those players mature enough to handle it, but it doesn't seem strictly necessary.

Probably one of the best April Fool's downloads I've ever seen. The art is great, and those of you who are long-time White Wolf fans will definitely recognize the artist. Pay the $0.99 folks, the adult material is absolutely worth it. The subject matter is one that deserves the full write-up suggested by this "excerpt." The Exalted excel at all aspects of life, it says so right in the main rulebook. I can't believe that some Solar, especially at the height of the depravities that helped end the First Age, didn't spend a century or three developing her sexual Charms (pun intended) to their fullest. Maybe we could talk White Wolf into developing it as some sort of serial pdf release? Bottom line: If you're an Exalted fan, buy this. You'll never regret it.

Excellent content but be warned it is not a complete system. A shame too because I would really love to see that martial style developed.

Simply Awesome. I can only hope that sales of this "joke" reach a level where the producers decide to make it a real, full-lenght, product.

This has to be one of the coolest april fool's pranks ever. I like this supplement as it adds some interesting things to the game. It can definately add to my arsenal of things to do to my players. I only wish it was an actual full text as the artwork and materials inside are great for an excert from the full book.

This is honestly the most hilarious RPG related suppliment I've ever read that wasn't made by Phil Foglio. It's got some decent information (relatively decent) on sexuality in the Exalted setting, great pictures, and for a dollar, well worth the price.

Once I actually got it opened, I actually thought it wasn't that bad of a product. Could be a bit more information though. One thing I did notice was that the pages were numbered oddly, did this come from a bigger supplement or was that part of the April Fools deal?

This is a CON not a joke. I would like my money back immediately, though I will accept instead a valid, non-bullshit product.

The best Exalted supplement, bar none. You won't need any other Exalted supplements after you've gotten this, because in its sixteen pages it packs a lot of high-quality content and artwork.
