A fine little set of printable paper minis. Print them, trim them, glue them to a penny and you're good to go!

The kit comes with a gridded arena and quick-start rules. The art on the miniatures is gorgeously detailed, though some may find it prints dark, so you might want to adjust the contrast first.

A handy little introduction to the game, logically presented with some gorgeous illustrations to whet the appetite for the main book. It does leave you wanting more, though. I only lasted a week before caving in and shelling out the extra cash for the full version.

A wise scholar once said a good index is a boon to mankind. This book is an essential resource and guide to the titles released on the Jonstown Compendium, nicely laid out and regularly updated. If only all catalogues were this useful!

While many aspects of the original Palladium haven't aged well, this is still a great resource for the player. The text is small but well-spaced and legible, and the scan is clear and complete.

There are a few scanning artifacts, but nothing that impacts on the quality of the contents. The only thing that would make it better is if the text were searchable. On the other hand, the joy of a rulebook like this is in flicking through it and getting distracted by interesting bits.

And the classic b&w art is there to enjoy in all its whimsical glory.
