These are a set of elegant, flexible yet reasonably hard-ish sci fi wargame fules for modern and near future military. the hero rules are light and flavorful, customization is fun and fast. reminds me of old mechwarrior:age of destruction for its great depiction of combined arms. being able to gin up stats for any figure i happen to have around is this game's superpower.

This version of Heavy Gear Blitz combines the key ingredients needed to run a tabletop game, a campaign or a tournament all into one easy to read source. All the major factions are treated in depth, the rules are clearly explained with good examples, and there is very little wasted space.
