Characters start with a locked-door mystery, and end up with a monsterous twist. A very Combat-lite,Roleplay-heavy plot, which I was looking for to ease new players in to the hobby. Newer GM/DMs will need to step up their game to make sure the NPCs are portrayed correctly. Over all; Excellent and Well done! Very printer friendly, except for the beautiful cover art. Lets face it all cover art, if done right, is not exactally printer friendly anyway. All the artwork within the pages is also beautiful and done well, it definately adds to the flavor of the setting, I just wanted a bit more of it. I wanted a couple of pieces of "Show 'Em" type artwork or maybe a couple of handouts too. As for the letters and the telegram used in the story, they aren't something that I can't reproduce on my own. I enjoyed the callback to the Thrilling Tales adventure and it has a really nice alternative set up for the next printed adventure (The Price of Immortallity) as well, so you could run the two back to back. Which I'm considering doing exactally that. I feel it is worth the time and price.

Hell Hath No Fury is a "Penny Dreadful", an adventure for the Imperial Age Game. Designed for newer characters (2 to 4 1st level).

The author takes care to let you know that while the Imperial Age can coer a variety of Victorian game types, he had to make some assumptions to have a pre-written adventure work out, so this one is described as Occult Steam. I like that.

The adventure is presented in Three Acts and moves at a brisk pace.

The mystery reads like a "Penny Dreadful" and has the feel and atmosphere of a Victorian mystery. I don't want to spoil things, but this is a fun adventure for the first time players.

All the Imperial Age books are all well written and features art from the age, either public domain art and paintings as well as some original art. In all cases the art is very evocative of the time and very well done.

The books are all easy to read, with clean layout and font sizes. They can be printed with ease without killing your printer cartridge.

This adventure is broken down into simple chapters that do a good job of detailing the chapter's purpose while providing linkage to the next one. There is very little opportunity for combat, except in two places, but these can be avoided with good roleplaying and GMing. There is a whole section devoted to the cast and generic NPCs. There are no maps, as they are not really required although pictures of the cast would have been nice.

Overall this was a fair introductory adventure. If you and your group are combat monsters, avoid this. If you are more cerebral (read Holmesian) you'll have fun. This has linkage to the next adventure in the series, The Price of Immortality.
