You know, you are reading an amazing book when the story comparse the resiliance and rubberiness of a sea serpents scales with a regular school meal. (The food doesn't fare too well in the comparison.)

The adventure with a plethora of story hooks promisses a ton of fun. It's clear that this is a work of passion and written with dedication to detail. Amidst flavorful and engaging encounters you can find qquite helpful tips for the director (GM) and the document is very well layed out and invites to reading it.

The "quote" from the beginning tells you already, that we can find a good dose of humor in this ancient tale and I really enjoy the liberties the kids took with the material and their ideas. Not wanting to spoil anything but the story goes into plenty of interesting places and this is only fitting for a They Came From story. Reminds me of the rpgs written a few decades ago as fantasy and science fiction were "still young" and explored all kinds of ideas. What can I say? As a fan of "serious" and dark fantasy I very much enjoyed this more light hearted stpry of brilliant heroes! Really hope to see more coming from the authors. You rock!

An absolutely delightful adventure full of great set pieces, a wry sense of humor, and a good deal of creativity. Also, surprisingly less railroad-y than I expected. The cameos are fun, if perhaps not to everyone's tastes, and I love the other plot hooks mixed in in the side boxes. The authors deserve the praise they've gotten. This is wonderful.

An amazing first effort from the authors, packing a huge amount of adventure for the page count. (Also packed with in-jokes that I suspect a geezer like me only caught half of.) A nice blend of fights, environmental dangers & social encounters, with side branches from every node on the plot tree. Highly recommended.

A delightfully wonderful and whimsical adventure!

I ran this as a two-shot for some first-time players, and we all had absolute blast with it! The fun we had with this adventure honestly makes it difficult to write this review because I have the urge to write down all of my group’s fantastic encounters and shenanigans, but I don’t want to spoil anything for other players!

The environments are incredibly varied and the cast of NPCs and monsters are just as such and shine radiantly in both social and combat situations. The adventure as a whole, in addition to being a whimsical, epic romp, is impressively versatile. It would obviously fit well with “They Came from the Cyclops’s Cave,” but I can see it fitting with other “They Came From” games due to events in one of the later scenes, the fact that the scenes don’t need to play out in linear fashion, and an abundance of story hooks.

Overall, this adventure is an absolute delight! An excellent job by all the writers! 5 out of 5, I will be directing this adventure again!

A great adventure!

I ran this for my players yesterday and we had a blast! Thinking of running this for my second group as well, just need to get the timing right

The locations and npcs were especially well executed in my opinion so kudos to the writers for that.

I recomend this to anyone who wants to run a one or twoshot set in greece with a dash of childish whimsy.

Also recomended for those who likes avocados

Easiest purchase I've made on Drivethru in ages, and thoroughly recommended with the highest praise possible - as someone who's written on other They Came From books, I can't decide whether to be jealous of their clear talent, or in awe! (it's awe).

I love Cyclops’s Cave anyway, and this book lays out a clear hook to get players involved as well as ensuring the story can go this way and that, rather than running overtly on rails. It's an adventure I will surely run for my group and I look forward to seeing how they handle each of the many challenges, as well as the brilliant monsters.

Even if it wasnt PWYW, this would be a highly recommended purchase - not just because you'll make some kids day and help inspire a new generation of writers and RPG fans, but because it's flat out a great adventure!

My congratulations to the writing team here, 11/10.
