Quick read, but it contains more wisdom than 99.9% of the crap on this site. If you want an original campaign setting that players care about, and deeply engage with, get this book. Read it and use it. You'll save a ton of money by not buying terrible pre-produced adventures that at best get 6 sessions of play.

Amazing book. I've been using it for 5e but it will work easily with any fantasy RPG/wargame, and any genre RPG OR wargame campaign with a little bit of effort. The building tree and worksheet are easy, fun to use and will provide you with a playable level of depth and more opportunities for role play, character and campaign development. This book is a fantastic tool for driving player engagement, giving them a sense of place and ownership in the campaign. Highly recommended.
