Basically it is an excellent OSR Scifi Toolkit. The game mechanics seem to resemble OD&D while the descending AC (called a Defense Value) score seems to track AD&D based 10 instead of 9 like in BX/BECMI. The character's Hit Dice (called Vitality) seems to track AD&D. But it seems it is designed so you could port in almost any OSR based on 2e AD&D or earlier.
One can use it to generate any style of play across different Scifi Gentres. Like Hard Scifi vs Space Fantasy vs Space Opera vs Star Trek or Star Wars.

I love it. Can't wait for it to come out in stores or for hardcopies...
