Excellent resource. Definitely helped me flesh out some broader domain and skirmish play.

Just the other day I was looking for a module to solo, and I glanced through the Chaotic Caves, which I'd downloaded quite some time ago.
Dang, this thing is good. It thankfully does NOT use the read-aloud text of other Basic fantasy modules, instead preferring spare and efficient description. The keying works well, good encounters, and for all that the module covers--a town, two overland sites, and huge cave crawl of 76 rooms--it does so in less than fifty pages. Excellent.
Just found out J. D. Neal also did Saga of the Giants. Gotta download that now too.

Glad you enjoyed it! To be fair, the "read-aloud" text serves multiple purposes for non-solo play, and in general Basic Fantasy adventures do include it. I've addressed this question on my Youtube channel if you're interested. |

This is a great little megadungeon to start your players in. Pretty simple, teaches some good dungeon lessons, and best of all, it isn't too long. Highly recommend.

Leo Hunt has created an incredible setting for use with Knave. Rules lite, evocative old tech science, awesome races/anscestries.

I picked this up when it was on sale for eight bucks. An excellent megadungeon, even considering its age. What I love is how it gets progressively weirder the deeper you delve.

This is both a work of art AND awesome to play. I soloed most of this and plan to finish once work cools down. The locations are evocative, and the creatures and people always make for interesting scenes. Amazing product, great for any overland crawl.

I am soloing this right now, and it is excellent. Love the faction play. I can't believe one guy did all of this. That kind of makes it special to me. Great product.

I've soloed part of this--it's great, if you're looking for a classic Moria-style dungeon. It is NOT gonzo, but rather presents the environment with more fidelity to Gillespie's version of dwarven culture.

This looks fantastic. Great locations, lots of cool new magic items. My group has been jonesing to play a pirate campaign. This will fit the bill.

The layout here works well--nothing feels out of place or disjointed, and the descriptions don't carry on too long. The keying is awesome, and I love the maps. Good job!

Amazing tables, and the writing feels so consise and pared back. It's what I love about Shadowdark too. No fluff. Only what we absolutely need.

I completely love this! Megadungeons are awesome, but let's be honest, the prospect of running them can seem daunting--Dwimmermount, Arden Vul, those all have reams of pages to read before you feel confident enough to run them. I mean, they're great, but BIG.
Here is a megadungeon where everything is concise and well-formatted. Only the essential information, in as clean a package as possible. Great job, Onslaught Six.

A fantastic old school resource for those on of us on a tight budget. It faithfully recreates AD&D 1e's main content. Even when I'm playing a different system, if I need to say pull in a new monster or a magic item, I reach for this.

G. Hawkins creates amazing stuff, and this is no different. I'm enjoying it as much as Gunderholfen. Lots of cool traps, creature tactics laid out, and some excellent maps. Highly recommend if you're looking for a dungeon to crawl.
