After taking the plunge and referring for months using Greymarsh I've upgraded my rating, it has enough scope to handle campaign play while having a robust simplicity to the rules that has suited my players, whether they are less experienced or have been playing for years. All the character classes have seen play, and the spell creation rules are a big hit. As a referee used to making rulings it's been perfect for me.

I've ran games using a variety of sword & sorcery rpgs over many years and Runesword is one of the best. It nails the common tropes of S&S without piling on unnecessary rules that jolt the players' immersion out of the action.
