Do you like 90's action movies? Do you like Martial arts movies, City Hunter or John Wick? Do you like simple but not simplitist systems? Are you disapointed by the system of the offical GI joe RPG like I am?

Then Outgunned is for you.!

The point is simple everything pulpy or actionized works with Outgunned, you can make a character in 10 minutes and he will be very solid and effective. The rules are great and have this little thing that does not make them bland. To be clear : you roll attribute+skill D6. You try to do pairs, triples, squares and even 5 of. You can try to improve your roll but if you fail, you loose what you have BUT you have feats that often fibes reroll without risk. That works wonderfully.

ennemies are represetend as a challenge and that works great for action and so the gameplay is fluid.

The art is nice, the structure of the book is excellent, the writing is clear. The PDF is both in ITA and english and so are the fillable character sheets.

Do I have something wrong to say about this game? No.

Great for fast paced action adventures, but as the "Action flicks" supplement shows it has a broader scope than that. If you want to play period drama or clashing kingdoms, with whole kingdoms as characters, then maybe choose FATE. In basically any other case, the Director's cut system helps you tell great, entertaining stories

Outgunned is one of the smartest RPGs I've ever played. If you're looking for a system that doesn't impede storytelling without sacrificing the rules, and that requires little prep, then Outgunned is probably for you. The whole book is an homage to what action heroes used to be: a celebration of decency, empowerment, and gallantry (to paraphrase John McTiernan). The first and foremost rule of the game is "don't let the rules bully you", and that on top of a system that really favours bold moves and crazy stunts guarantees you'll leave the table with stars in your eyes. I'm about to start an Outgunned campaign, and the more I examine the game the more I love it's design and feel. This is the kind of TTRPG I wish I'd written myself: The mechanics are relatively simple, highly playable and capture a sense of action and urgency. Mostly, Outgunned is just plain fun. I have a suspicion it might become my new favourite RPG.

The System is very good at Bringing the tension to the table. If you want to be in a gun fight while driving the car on a cliff and suddenly have forgotten your extra pistol mag, and now you have to jump on an enemy helicopter to fight bad guys with your fists...this game is for you! At first I was sceptic because I was thinking that you can only play Adrenaline Action Movie based games...BUT this game can be anything! Investigation? sure! Fantasy? No problem! (you will need Action Flickers book) Only advice I can give when you are playing: Don`t hold back! If you want epic - BE EPIC!

Two Little Mice always pour so much love and attention into their products, and Outgunned is no exception. The system works so well for quick punchy action and adventure! Your players will love creating their characters using the roles and tropes, and the fun definitely won't stop there. Once you get the hang of the system (and this doesn't take long), GMing it is very intuitive. I'm not great at improvisation, but something about the genre and certainly the good game design makes Outgunned very conducive to flying along with the action! Embrace the cheesy action movie one-liners and I guarantee your whole table will have an absolute blast.

This game is absolutely amazing. Backed it up its Kickstarter campaign and couldn't be happier. Not only its system is fast, agile and easy to learn but also captures perfectly the Hollywood action movies spirit. Furthermore, the art of Daniela is gorgeous. What else can you ask for to a TTRPG?

Extremely fast paced and good system, really gives what it promises, games are quick, fast and easy to run but feel exactly like an action movie should, difficulty is there however and things can get out of control if the group stops thinking during some crucial moments, for those times were roleplay is more relevant there are always a handful of mooks so they can drop the one-liners while throwing dice without thinking.

All in all, this game delivers exactly what it promises.
