Well worth the purchase. I picked up the printed cards and they are attractive and of good quality (my first time getting cards printed).

I have to say that the flavor text really is added value even for the spells in the original book. Most of the spells in the BSH book are given only a sentence or two. The flavor text added here both brings the spells to light and also helps understand how it might work or be used. Obviously this is Philip Reed's reading of the spell and not "canon," but they work for me.
