This supplement for the Cthulhu Dark Ages setting is placed in medieval France. The Pastores is a deadly Mythos fertility cult worshipping the Lovecraftian deity Shub-Niggurath in her form of the "Magna Mater." Gameplay potentially works for the Early Middle Ages and the High Middle Ages, but it was written for the 10th century.

Very detailed and meticulously researched, the five scenarios within can each be run stand-alone or combined into a single, continuous campaign. As the supplement is an open-ended sandbox, running a full Pastores campaign will take some work and embellishment on the part of the Keeper.
