As usual, an excellent one-pager that can be used as such or mined for ideas for other games (Tricubes Tales is a splendid little game, try it). Buy it and play it, you will not regret it.

I find this little product charming and interesting. Everything, from the picture to the stats, screams "use me, find me a niche in your game, I will not disappoint". This little fiendish creature is to be found feral or as a pet and has a distinct Tribble vibe, but with a meaner streak. I love it, but obviously your mileage may vary. As a note to author/publisher, in the fourth paragraph under the image there is a couple of little typos (nothing dramatic, the sense of the sentence is perfectly understandable anyway): "SOME PRACTIONERS OF THE ARANE ARTS" should be "SOME PRACTITIONERS OF THE ARCANE ARTS".

Mi associo a quanto detto da Alessandro nella sua recensione: IMPERDIBILE! Meccaniche nuove e interessanti per zuffe alla "Bud Spencer", ambientazione italiana picaresca eccellente e ricca, sapienti rimandi ai prodotti culturali (ma anche sotto-culturali) di epoche più o meno lontane del cinema e della letteratura italiana (non solo Brancaleone, quindi). Ottime e ricche illustrazioni, bella la mappa e il foglio del personaggio, Questo è un prodotto che grida "giocami" ad ogni pagina. Alcune pseudo-citazioni mi hanno fatto sbellicare (non anticipo nulla per non rovinare il divertimento a chi leggerà). 5 stelle meritate, per me. Attenzione però: questo vale soprattutto se amate certi film e ambientazioni e volete giocare in un mondo che li ricorda da vicino. Se l'idea di un D&D picaresco, sporco, brutto e cattivo non vi attira almeno un po', forse questo prodotto non fa per voi.

Dark Conspiracy is the excellent and flexible system GDW developed for Twilight:2000 with a futuristic slant and an horror-conspiracy theme re-imagining. The richness of the tapestry presented and the completeness of this bundle gives it a lot of value if you are old fans (like me) who did not manage to collect all the series and some serious value even to newcomers wanting to give it a try. The price is right and the bundle is complete (at least as far as I know). Many thanks to GDW I really appreciate their re-issues. As a minor point some pages are partly unreadable and some other are scanned bootom up. We are speaking of 5-6 pages over one thousand so it is not a majoir point. However, it needs to be solved, and I sure hope it will get solved sooner than later.

While all Arion sets of paper minis are very good to excellent products, I have a penchant for their larger sets, like this one. I think the sheer variet, or as one other reviewer put it, completeness, of this set is really its shinier point. Mind you, quality is as good as ever and I always thought the possibility to use the minis in tent or triangle based form one really nice touch. One other definite plus is the Arthurian beasties and near humans that round up the set: a pleasant surprise and a quite useful addition. The only negative point I may find on this great bunch of minis is the little typo that labels the giant on page 9 as the green knight, but that's really all. A definite should buy for everyone who, like me, loves to play Pendragon or other Arthurian themed games. I look forward to buy more medieval sets toi expand my possibilities.
