This is an absolutely fantastic solo derelict crawl. The danger clocks instead of hit points keeps combat exciting and unpredictable instead of the typical roll until you get enough hit points to kill the enemy. Danger clocks work great for hazards too! Each room you will be dealing with hazards and monsters. And getting wounded actually propels the story, not hinder it.
The skill checks are flair checks for special powers is new and refreshing and adds so much more than just roll to complete a task. You can actually weaken the enemy or do something in preparation to make dealing with the hazard easier next action.
It’s simple, easy to get to the table, exciting, and just overall well done. I have just discovered Cezar’s games and I am hooked.
