An absolutely incredible resource for GMs, Solo-players, and writers alike.
I am, admittedly, not particularly well versed in solo gaming engines, but Mythic still seems like something special. It has you tracking threads and lists for different parts of your story/adventure, making it incredibly easy to re-integrate elements and connect the dots as you go along.
The first question I get whenever I tell people about Mythic is, "but can it surprise you?" and it absolutely can! The meaning tables alone can bring you to results you didn't expect, but every scene you start and every fate roll you make has a chance to introduce a new twist. Each scene can be altered or interrupted in a variety of ways, and if you roll doubles while consulting the Fate chart, a random event happens.
Check it out. If you're not certain, there are some great Solo RPG podcasts (like The Lone Adventurer Season 1, and Me Myself & Die season 1 and 3) that use Mythic so you can get a feel for how it works.
