I can’t say enough good things about this if you are interested in solo RPGs. I use a lot of systems and it truly works with any of them.

It took a bit to adjust my mindset to using Mythic, some reading and thinking, but it’s been a very literal game-changer for me. The presentation is excellent, which helps.

It allows the sort of freedom of play I can, surprisingly, only achieve alone.

One of my absolute favorite tools for solo play or GMing, the cards are packed with random but organized data to help you come up with nearly anything on the fly. You could solo alone with it but I often use it alongside other tools like Mythic GME.

I own the Base deck and several others and swap between them based on game genre and tone. There are so many ways to use these, I recommend checking out the authors demonstration video.

Got this in pdf and I used it enough for random locations in my solo games that I picked up the absolutely massive hardcover. This is the biggest book on my gaming shelf by far and it is simply packed locations full of plot hooks, ideas, encounters, etc.

There are few systems that can do what I want, and Hero is simply top-tier when it comes to flexibility, depth and allowing any type of game the GM is willing to put the work into. Yes, there will be some work, this system is complex and packed with options.

The book is massive, and my only regret is that you cannot get this book in hardcover & color anymore. You may find book 2 in hardcover if you look hard.
