This is a solid addition to the A5E books, and the approach taken evokes the nostalgia of 2nd Edition Psionics, without falling into the same pitfalls that previous editions did.
A lot of the character options add utility, so you might find this book works best in a game that isn't a straight dungeon crawl. A5E characters are generally more versatile than 5E ones (though not necessarily more powerful) so keep that in mind if you are using this with mainstream D&D.
