Answer The Call is a promising addition to an underserved superhero space in the TTRPG world. The rulebook provides ample inspiration to storytellers and players alike with regards to both setting, and most importantly, powers. The systems provides a variety of options for classic superhero tropes while remaining open to fresh ideas. The system is contained enough to avoid a fully narrative feel, while leaving plenty of space for customisation and on-the-fly adaptations so the solid foundation it has built.

The system provides a strong sense of progression via a tiers of play system that keeps players engaged from session to session, which is especially important for the high power fantasy that superhero systems evoke.

Overall Answer The Call is an excellent first system from the publisher, and I'm excited to see what additions or new systems they come up. I'll be keeping my eye on them for sure.
