4th edition got me back into RPGing. I had taken a hiatus from gaming for a number of years, but a random feed advertisement for a YT vid for 4th edition review peaked my interest. It inspired me to pick up a copy for myself and I am not back into RPG games (specifically Free League games :) ).

At first I wasn't sure if I liked the way 4th edition was far less "crunchy" than the previous editions, but it certainly won me over for speeding up gameplay.

Free League has done a great job with honoring the spirit of the older editions and updating it into new mechanics.

Hopefully we will get a bunch more official modules. I hear Black Madonna is out for Kickstarters so hope to see that available soon for the general public. Also Hostile Waters is finishing up as well.

Can't wait for more!

I am not normally a fan of fantasy games, but this has been great to run so far (enjoying it as a GM). Ran one two sessions so far, one for adults and one for my kids. It really grabbed their attention and hope it they continuing to enjoy it even more.
