Love this series, and love this issue- and I happily pay for them! I want to see this magazine continue, and so I am thrilled to support what is clearly a labor of love!
My only gripe is the prevalence of GSP errors- indeed, the editing shortfalls are the ONLY reason I give four stars.
Thanks to everyone here who is keeping Star Frontiers alive- you keep makin' 'em, I'll keep buyin' 'em!

You had me at the intersection of V&V and Jeff Dee!

Full marks! For me, these capture the spirit of wonder and fun that initially drew me to fantasy roleplaying in the first place!
Since, oh, 1983 or so, I have seen other custom character sheets along these lines- some were great, others less so. These sheets elicited a goofy grin from the first moment we met, and again, as I review them!

A great little series to help flesh out the campaign! The only things keeping it from five stars are the grammatical errors throughout...

I think this was the first RARR! product that I bought, taking a chance on what seemed like a cool premise. It did not disappoint! Think Special Unit 2, think Bureau 13, think the cartoon/toyline that shares this product's name, you practically have to love this title! Unless you're a zombie, of course...
House Fleming has its finger on the pulse of some indefinably awesome creative spark, and I really like the results that this cat has shared with the rest of us- take a gander, I think you'll like what you find here!

A genuine bargain, this document has only a few GSP errors throughout to limit its perfection. Every single entry is delectably disturbing. I will further investigate this author in the hope of finding continued awesomeness. Thank you!

Bought it. Smart and well-written. I have not yet had the opportunity to play it, but I look forward to doing so.

Hey Andrew! I hope you got a chance to finally play, BUT (and I know this is from a long while back, so I apologize for my lateness) THANK YOU SO MUCH for checking it out!! :)
Seeing people get it and play is the whole reason I make games, so It's super cool to see when someone enjoys it. Take care! (and, you heard it here first, I MAY be updating/rebooting in the near future!) ;) |

A great product with great creativity in every class and race description, it would have earned five stars but for all the typos. I absolutely LOVE the Dragonkin concept!

LOVE. This.
BECMI was my first taste of D&D, followed closely by well-loved Otus manuals. Inheriting the entire hardback AD&D library came later...
Always been a sucker for pregens, so the fact that these three also get a simple but very expressive, drops-ya-right-in comic page is extremely cool.
Loved every page. Please keep up the good work!

Came with a virus. I'm glad it was free. I tried to determine if my system just didn't like something about this download, but every attempt came back with the same virus warning. So I'm glad it was free, but disappointed, too - I really like the Savage Worlds line and was looking forward to another resource for it.

Thanks for letting us know about your concern. The file scans clean from our end and I suspect this is the same issue reported by another user on a different product falsely flagged as a virus by Symantec. Please let us know if you have a different message than that below or if you are getting an error in a different A/V program.
The good news is that it is not a virus and is a false positive warning from Symantec simply because it is "unknown" or the file is not well known enough to have a good reputation among the Symantec user community. I re-scanned the file with AVG and did a quick search of the reported error ""WS.REPUTATION.1" and there are pages of results verifying this case. This is an interesting article describing why software from smaller, lesser known companies gets automatically flagged by Symantec as being untrustworthy and how to remedy the problem.
