I love this supplement! It's evocative, a quick read, and full of awesome art! I really enjoy how stat blocks don't give values, but rather tells the reader to use weapons and armor values for the system they're using.

A great amount of material for nothing! I am loving what the author is doing with Rad World. ShadowDark is a wonderful system to incorporate a post-apocalypse. The items are weird, useful (most of them), and goofy!

What an excellent supplement
The writing is superb and met with equal design choices. Not only does this provide useful material, it inspires you to run the material. It inspires you to tell people you know about this supplement; I know I already have.

Kazad Mor perfectly highlights what makes ShadowDark great: dungeon crawling. I mean, just look at that impressive map! This is a challenging dungeon that will require more than one crawl-through; there's likely to be more loot than the party has ever dreamed of.

Creepy, quick, and crafty!
This is a wonderful pocket adventure. It can easily be adapted to any fantasy RPG you play. Made for ShadowDark, but it has a Mork Borg look and feel. Also, what's not to love about an adventure you fold yourself?! How creative

Hilariously useful!
I find the Carpenter a delightful and handy class. It's sure to lend a helping hand to any party it joins.

I can't say enough about ShadowDark RPG. I love everything about this game: the simplicity of races and classes, the random class talents, and, above all, I LOVE the torch timer. I've run a few ShadowDark games this year (including a Level 10 playtest with the author) and I adore how easy it is to run. There is very little thumbing through books to look up rules; the Game Master is encouraged to focus on quick rulings to keep the game going, rather than looking up that specific rule (take that, lawyers!). Combat is quick and dangerous in ShadowDark; players must be careful and decisive if they want their characters to crawl another day. ShadowDark is a game that deserves to be on everyone's shelf and their tables. So what are you waiting for?! Smash that Add to Cart button and start playing ShadowDark today!

It's been weeks since I last saw civilization. My throat is dry, my body aches, but we did. By the seven sovereigns, we did it.
Soulblight is an incredible setting, and not just for Shadowdark. The lore written can easily be adapted to fit any dark fantasy RPG that you play. The author introduces the thirst mechanic, a devastating condition if left unchecked.
The new races are incredible. There is a wonderful amount of lore surrounding them and the art is evocative. The classes that are introduced are powerful - a necessary skill to survive in Lothorian.
On top of that, we have holidays that actually provide in-game effects. Too often holidays and other celebrations are over looked in RPGs, despite being an important part of any society. These effects connect you to the world around you and give the setting a realistic feel not seen in other settings.
I could go on and on, but why should I?! Smash that add to cart button and get this setting. Your players will thank you.

I love this system. It's dark, gritty, and dangerous. I have been looking for a sci-fi system play and Vast Grimm is it!

The combats in this adventure are busy and awkward to run. In the very first combat, I found myself falling out of character because of all of the various tactics used in the fight. Furthermore, in the first fight, your character does not have a weapon. However, in the intro, it is stated that your character is the "go-to" for danger in the village; I feel that such a person would be prepared. The final combat is awkward to run because of all the stat blocks and different tactics needed. I found myself constantly scrolling up and down to view all the stat blocks and made sure I used appropriate abilities. All-in-all it is a good adventure, but combat needs to be less busy than it is.

I have been using these sheets since I purchased them. They keep my character sheets clean, organized, and easy to navigate. They are wonderful because the only things you need to fill in are character details and subclass features. Having the skills next to the associated Ability Score is a great touch.

This is one of my favorite unofficial subclasses, hands down. It is thoughtful, balanced, and a fun take on the Druid. I have been able to run through a couple of one-shots with this character; this subclass does not outshine any official subclasses and meshes well with a good party. Keep an open mind when approaching the Haze, lest you freak out, maaaan.

This is a wonderful document. It is creative and informative. Not only does it allow the option for different Awakened Familiars, it provides wonderful ideas to build the character. I love the degree of challenge added with the lower Hit Dice than usual; it will make for an interesting game.

Thanks so much for your review, Randall! We're incredibly happy that you're enjoying the supplement. We're pretty close to silver at the moment, so you should be seeing an update with a few more options very soon. :) |

While it was super awesome to have Grungs introduced, there wasn't anything amazing about this document. The first page is an intro to Grungs, then an advertisement for a Stream. A few NPCs are introduced and that is it, no adventure hooks, no basic Grung village map, not even a page on Grung hierarchy and culture. On top of that, it does not make the Grung an offical playable race. It's fun, but it should have been around $2.

If you haven't yet purchased parts 1 and 2 of the Shipwrecked! series, you are missing out. Attack on the Sunken Citadel is a perfect ending to a low-level trilogy. The roleplay is immersive, the exploration is a good balance of low DCs and high DCs, and the combats are challenging. On top of that, the artwork is absolutely top-notch. There are some handy links in the document to quickly navigate between the story and magic items/combat tactics. The adventure has a great pace, and I'm glad I wasn't slowed by having to navigate back and forth within the document. I hope that there is more in the future for Fate's Chosen; an idle life does not suit adventurers.
