Some decent background material, but it shouldn't have Old School Essentials listed in its Rules compatibility. Even the First Printing uses a "d20 vs Difficulty" skill resolution system, and the Second Printing (the only one available to PoD) changes even that to a "2d10 vs Difficulty" roll. I suppose someone could backwards engineer it, but that's not a great surprise to run into for someone new to the system or someone expecting easy compatibility out of the box. I certainly wish I'd known before I made the choice to PoD along with the PDF, to save money.

A very well rounded B/X Post-Apocalyptic game with classes and art very reminiscent of the tropes of Fallout. The "Atomic 2d10" system, in my opinion, is also really well done and reduces a lot of the swinginess of D20 systems. Only 4 stars though, as it is in and of itself a very lean system; although that can be expanded upon later on.

The paper quality, and the general feel of the book is amazing. Very well, thought through system to begin with, amazing! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to play wasteland games.

Solid entry into the OSR landscape. A well laid out, exciting system for taking your game to the wasteland of a nuclear aftermath. Smartly designed character creation provides a good variety of options without convoluting the process, all while instantiating variable racial scarcity. All around solid design provides DMs and players alike with exciting tools for exploring the post apocalyptic setting. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Stays true to the bx structure and expands upon it while leaning into the artistic style and sensibility of Fallout. Excellent rules for firearms/armour and resulting wounds. I'll wait a while for print as I've noticed some minor typos. All in all its concise and delivers what I believe, it sets out to do.

Atomic Punk 2160 is a straightforward OSR game designed to give an post-nuclear war feel. It has a clean character creation process with a good foundation of rules. The backgrounds and classes hit the major options players will want in this nuclear wasteland. The rules are not going to bog down the game and the structure gives just enough to allow any kind of nuclear wasteland adventure. And it uses bottlecaps.
