Ah, the bane of spells labeled as 'bad and not worth your time'. Aside from the wonderful NPCs and evocations in this book once again, taking on true strike is courageous. But man I love what can be done with it when considering the evocations in this book, such as 'see the opening' and 'gang up'. Well worth the spice to flow your game with more variety.

First off, great that we also get some character drawings for the different NPCs this time, and some of them are really wicked! Furthermore, great selection of cantrips again with different evocations. Like volume 1, it's a great way to spice up your game and give that warlock some variety. Some of these might still require some balancing, but what beter way to do that than to play your game and play with these evocations and ideas! p.s. I especially like the wild 'undeniable death' evocation.

Finally something to spice up your warlock without going for the "you must use eldritch blast at all times" mannequin! There are some many great things in here, from new evocations specifically focussed on cantrips such as fire bolt, to an NPC story who you might want to use in your campaign (including a statblock). Great for that spice of variety that people need, even cultists and their great eye ball friend.

Oh how to describe the tea house, charming, feel-good, feels(!) and easy to place anywhere in your DnD game. As always, a few NPCs ready to read-upon and play with (Lizzy's story is my favourite). A menu, map, encounter, and a tea shop which sells more than just tea. Because being good to others, brings good to you.

You cannot help but chuckle when you hear the shops name 'Nutty Tavern'. Which ofcourse is filled to the bring with nuts (peanuts, pecan, pistache, and some nutty ales!). Wonderful NPCs again with some interesting 'enemies' (they so cute). If you have a weakness for nuts and squirrels, this is for you.

Once again, a very refreshing shop in the sometimes boring staple of DnD. This will certainly light up any town. And Aron the owner is such a fascinating creature, an outside the box NPC race. And Balthazar is way to fluffy for its own good. Great shop once again, an encounter, menu, some characters, a shop map (wich all the other shops have as well btw).

It is very refreshing to have something in the category of 'not necesarrly the common way to describe fantasy'. We all know bread and butter of regular DnD stories, or even fantasy as described in Lord of the Rings. Here however, a cookie shop to place anywhere in your own DnD world, with an encouter, enemies, characters and a little background is delightful. It's light hearted, which more DnD games can use. I can certainly recommend everyone some cookies from this shop, Eliza will be pleased.
