The breadth of topics covered in these 100 tables is impressive but most of the actual entries are essentially meaningless, words thrown together with little consideration of whether the combination makes sense. Might help to spark a creative process by providing a bank of parts in need of re-assembly but as a quick reference for naming things on-the-fly it's disappointing.

Some good riddles in here but a few are duplicates and they're not really organized in any way.

Wonderfully thorough and useful for speeding up the process of creating statblocks for NPCs with class features but my favourite part is the personality trait tables at the end which are a quick and easy tool for adding a touch of depth & distinguishing features to NPCs.

Simple and concise system for handling long-distance travel.

Fantastic resource for making random encounters & obstacles more memorable and fun by adding variety and depth. I've used this in designing several adventures and encounter tables and expect to keep using it for a long time to come.

Very fond of this collection! I'm running my first proper 5e campaign now and am wrapping up an adventure arc loosely inspired by "A Miner Requiem" (I ended up expanding and changing almost everything except the initial hook and a handful of NPCs but it gave me a place to start and without that I'd be nowhere so my gratitude is genuine), I ran a one-shot using one of the adventures in the original Eat the Rich anthology, and I can easily see myself using more material from the series in future.

The effort to be inclusive here is admirable but clumsily handled.

Re: all of the Baby Bestiary line of products: the art is incredible, the effort put into finding that many species-appropriate synonyms for "baby" is impressive, and the mechanics in the Companion Rules are interesting, but the way the series explicitly describes and treats fully sophont entities with intelligence equal to or greater than humanoid PCs as animals to be tamed and kept as pets is, to put it mildly, extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemely problematic.

One of the purchases from Dungeon Master's Guild that I'm most satisfied with, a fun and diverse collection of items with interesting properties. Definitely going to use a few of these in an upcoming pirate-themed adventure!
