This was fun, yet challenging, to run and play. The fact that the party has to help what it normally a boss monster was fun to through at them, and while the battles can be tough, an experienced team shouldn't have too much trouble. I do regret that there weren't any more in the series to run.

A very fun module to both run and play through. The battles were intriguing, especially while sailing in an ocean of lava and during the puzzle encounter, and the trick the efreeti play on both parties was a good laugh for me as DM.

Well written, and watching my players figure out how to get through it without being murderhobos was fun for me as well.

The first Tier 3 adventure I ever ran, and while it wasn't the most newbie friendly adventure to run for people use to running games at lower levels, it wasn't a chore to prep for in any way. The fights were a pleasant challenge for my table, and the exporation was well recieved as something more than just getting from A to B.

A great sequel to a great first part. The story and artwork were, once again, well reveived at my VTT game, and the ease of going from Verse I to Verse II was very nice for me as DM. I love any adventures that keeps track of player's decisions (especially when they actually have real decisions to make), and the background information was a very nice bonus.

A truly great adventure, the story and artwork were a plesant throwback to oldschool video games and brought out the nostalgia in the older players at my virtual table. It's easy to set up for VTT, and it doesn't skimp out on the information needed to run the game. Plus, how it leads directly into the second part made it simple to run them back to back.

Perhaps one of the funnest adventures I've ever run (and played in). The constant references to Pokemon, especially the final battle, made this a great time for everyone involved. I loved the unique battle mechanics for the monster fights, and the stat cards made it almost feel like a completely different game.

Ran this at a charity event, and the players had a blast. Fairly simple to go through, considering it was written for the younger crowd, but that has its own appeal for people who've played for a while and want something like this. Plus, who doesn't love saving children at the end of the day?

I love holiday-themed adventures, regardless of which holiday, and this was just fun to run during the Christmas season. Players had a lot of fun, and several wanted to adopt Chernok for their own familiar.

This was a fitting ending to the storyline. The final fight, and how there were multiple endings depending on choices made in the first two adventures as well make this a great series to run in a row.

This was a fun module to run. Starting in a fighting pit always catches my player's attention, followed by the randomness that they find in the mine proper made for an enjoyable time for everyone.

A great module (got it a while back but just never wrote a review). I've not done the sequels, but everybody's always had fun going through this adventure, and it's fun running it as well. The fight at the end is appropriately hard given the boss, but I always liked that.

Not the best written module, but I love mimics (they're highly underutilized both officially and unofficially), so an entire Fey Domain designed around mimics instantly drew my attention. Yes, the module does require some DM fiddling, especially with figuring out just why the characters would attend a random classroom lecture (I've both played and played with characters who would have a severe allergic reaction to the thought of going to class), and some of the scenes could use better descriptions. But, anybody who loves mimics would at least get a kick out of the story.

Another masterpiece of a module. Any series that connects together like this is great, but anything involving time travel (to me) makes it even better. The story is brilliant, and how it connects to one of the most played stories was a moment (pun intended) of brilliance. I need to get other modules written by these writers.

Thank you for your wonderful review! (I do enjoy time shenanigans quite a bit - as is probably evidenced in the adventure I wrote after this (SJ-DC-FAUX-01) if you're interested.) Very glad if you had a good time running this! :D |

An absolutely great module. The sheer amount of information and accessories given in support of the module needs to become the standard going forward, and it leads perfectly into the second module.
