My judge of most RP books is the bestiary, and this book brings the monsters.

From classics like straightforward merfolk, to expansions on existing favorites like the mud mephit, and brand new crazyness. My personal favorite in the latter category? The Lepus - Tentacled. That's right, an effin' octo-rabbit! It's as wacky as it is deadly, and the full-page photo of the creature (page 58) does not disappoint. The artist, Derek Stevens, really outdid himself on that one. There's also all-manner of variants on mimics that are also very worth theiving from their dedicated adventure (House Party) and sticking into any homebrew game that might need some spicing up.

If you like unique monsters, a great revisit to the classics, and unique adventures, this is the book for you. If you hate fun, this book is not for you.
