I really like the story of this module, it translates social problems into a fantasy RPG much better than most mods that attempt it. The setting feels real and the problems don't have a simple solution. Unfortunately the combat encounters are scaled much too hard. Even for a standard party, the final fight includes 4 monsters with AoE stun or paralysis and 2 more with single target stun effects. On my first playthrough most players never got a turn before they went unconscious, even if they passed more than half their saves. On my next run through I plan to scale back the combats a lot and remove all the AoE stun/paralysis effects, it's just no fun shutting down the party before anyone can do anything. I still love the story and I'm excited for the next two parts, I think the ending that leads into part 2 is very interesting.

This module stands out in the series for its great NPCs. Like all installments in At Jenny's Request this is a fun mod with great options for whatever aspects of the game players enjoy.

This is a bit different from a typical adventure but is a lot of fun and rewards players' creativity. There is something for everyone here, but its very open ended and lets players come up with their own ideas. Best when the DM has prepped a lot of different directions to take things.

Excellent use of a phenomenal NPC, this adventure draws players into the larger series but is also great on its own.

This is a great and satisfying end to this fun series. All of the NPCs and allies the players have built over the five previous modules have the chance to come back and join an epic final war. The mechanics for playing out a huge war with multiple factions are fun and give the players agency, are resolved quickly at the table, and creates the feel of a large scale conflict that the players can influence. Works well for players who've played the series but is fun and easy to understand as a stand alone module.

I like that this adventure can go in many different directions and feels a bit like an open sandbox, while still having some rails.

I enjoy this dungeon crawl a lot. Like any crawl it can drag at times, but a very fun and surprising NPC keeps the pace up and gives the DM an easy way to move the party along. There's plenty here to explore if you have the time, and its still a challenge for combat-focused players. Watch the time if you're playing in a limited time slot, it can go very long if you're not careful.

This is a really fun adventure that leads into a great series. It's a good mix of the pillers with a compelling story that leaves players eager to learn more.

This a silly and fun module for tier 1 players. It was the first AL module I ever played and I like to run it for new players as well.

Great epic with one of the most overwhelming combats I've ever seen. Doesn't feel bogged down with too many complications, just a world-ending challenge.

I love this adventure. The infiltration presents many unique challenges that forces players to think creatively. Multiple solutions are available and there's room for the party to invent their own. It can be challenging and frustrating as the defenses are strong, but a party that is interested in coming up with creative solutions will have a great time.

Great module if you're looking for a way to challenge experienced players with some unexpected mechanics. It can be very punishing and the module reminds the DM to discuss this with the players beforehand. If you have a party that likes to brag about being unkillable, this module can be a fun awakening! It creates challenges that are more creative than just adding monsters to the final fight.

This module in the DRW series isn't as exciting as most others of the series and feels more like filler in the story. It advances the plot of the larger story but not much happens and players who aren't invested in the bigger picture may feel lost.

Fun module with good variety and a decent challenge. Tends to be one of the more frequently played adventures in public play in my area and it holds up!
