I was lucky enough to play test this module. It is well written with plot lines and quests that force players to make hard and sometimes deadly decisions. Do you play it safe and let the clock continue to run, or do you risk your soul to defeat a great evil? It is very easy to become completely engrossed in the world presented by the author, making your heart race at each pivotal moment! Not a simple hack and slash adventure, this book allows for great role play opportunities as well as tense battles. A great conclusion to the Days of Blight series

after a hunt to the far northern reaches you find and enter a gate way to the Gloom of Hades. i have had the pleasure of playing through this massive adventure from the on set of book 1 to the finally in the Lair of the Lich-Hag, in this finally book the suspence is ramped up 3 fold, besides all the polictical back biting going on and the powerful planar beings at every corner, you have to consider what the enviroment will do to you. Once again Matt has taken us to the edge of maddness and gave us a reason to keep fighting the good fight.

I've had the privilege of playtesting this with the author himself, Matt Rauscher. Once again, he wrote a fantastic adventure, on an even larger scale than the first 2 installments, this time sending the party down into Hades to deal with the Hag Lich once and for all.

A captivating story, more enjoyable NPCs (and some detestable ones!) to interact with, and the ever-present Gloom throughout Hades will drag your party through a whirlwind of emotions!

I can't wait to run that from behind a DM screen myself!
