Wonderful book.
Easy to fit into any campaign, great for a hexcrawl.
This book presents complex situations and allows for open ended solutions.
Woeful Barrows has nine detailed adventure locations for a broad region. Has tie-ins to the Pits of Brund. Each location is unique with a distinct way it operates. History of the locations is not cumbersome but paints a good picture and provides context.

A good adventure, fits well into a fantasy campaign. It has stats at the back for Spear and spell, 5th ed, and OSR. I'll be slotting it into the wilderness of my campaign.

I'm loving this module. It is a great delve underground, the mysterious and dangerous otherword of the Shadowdark really is shown here. The levels are well planned and mapped, players can really explore without exhausting the material.

Really great flavor. It is a dark and dreary land, corruption is everywhere, and the people need heros. I especiall like how there are characters connected to the plot and maybe they are good and maybe they are evil (or just neutal). The text gives what they will do based on the alignment you choose (or what you roll for them). So even if a player has read the module they never know exactly who to trust or not. That also allows the DM to play it however feels best for them. I am looking forward to the rest of the books.

I ran this for my kids to introduce them to the game and it was great. A little hex crawl, a little dungeon, some good ways that the ending can lead to more adventures.

Clear background and a great map open the adventure. a good small town filled with plot and mystery follow it up. a local hexcrawl map with fun locations are the heart of the adventure. and it ends with a boss dungeon at the end. there is lots that could be expanded by the DM and many great chances to roleplay and to fight monsters.
James Spahn did a great job, this module is really good to introduce players and/or DM to the system, the game, or a campaign.

Very good art. A variety of monsters that all have a reason to attack quickly. A bit of unusual faire but with good flavor. My favorite are animate torches, not one that players will expect.

Good creativity, love the atmosphere. Wished for more motivation from creatures in room 4. I was confused by the end.

Wow!
So beautiful, so imaginative, and so very well written.
My personal favorite part is the Heart String Knight, you just have to read about it.
This is absolutely worth the buy.
