Given that so much fantasy is European or Asian based, i like to buy art showing other cultures.

This one especially resonated for me as i have a proesthetic on the same leg.

Some of these Lux Adversaria books are excellent. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them. It looks like it was made up of many articles.

Ordinarily, that would be fine. But in this case, it desperately needed editing. We get the same topics listed over and over with very little variation... or information. This could have been edited down to about five pages.

i think this is a weakness with the "Understanding XXX Roleplaying" volumes. The "Adventures" and "Characters" volumes are much more helpful.

To improve the volume, I'd suggest editing to remove redundancies, and giving more examples for the topics.

Public Domain stock art is a gamble. You either wind up with a lot of junk or a lot of bad images.

NOT this set. These are all high-quality, high-resolution images. And they're good images. Even if I had a list of sites to download the individual images for free, I doubt they would be of the quality this collection provides.

i don't play as much as I'd like, but i still buy books like this for ideas about world building fantasy culture. This one definitely delivered. It's nice to have options other than just Medieval Europe and East Asia.

I got this as source for my high school based webcomic. Even though I didn't need the psychic material, I was not disappointed by my purchase. Good job.
