I used this to hold a festival in the heart of Phandalin for the 5e published adventure Dragon of Icespire Peak. The party absolutely loved it and even took the chance to join in on opening their own game booths to earn some coin.

I bought this along witha one shot module from the same author, The_Ringmaster's_Husband, and I plan to use these games to flesh out the fair before the adventure begins. Use these games as test of skills for the PC's to engage in, which picking up rumors and clues from those that run the fair, and other patrons.

This is a handy little book with a bunch of good ideas. I needed something to help me flesh out a festival that my PCs will (hopefully) be going to in a few sessions, and this is exactly what I needed. And I really like the idea of the Trenchcoat Jousting!
