Playing Runequest in the Big Rubble? Then you want this Flesh on them old building bones. Great stuff.

Am genuinely delighted in the development of these easy to run adventures set in Prax. Cudos to Beer with Teeth.. I give them 9.5 porters and half a stout in rating. If you are looking to play Runequest in and around Pavis and the area this is the perfect addition.

These are a fantastic series for introducing players to Prax, without having to delve into Pavis and the Big Rubble. Perfect introduction to the region, runequest and any adventure with a HoneyBadger is clearly 5 stars. The only question is why was this left out of original RQ!.. I think this needs to be extended to talking Honey Badgers now....

This is the extensive long campaign format adventure this Judge has been looking for! Suits the DCC game to a Tee. All converted to DCC, including patrons, spells unique monsters and magic items.

It has the crazed weirdness that we all crave, but also, suprisingly a lot of character pathos. The above world setting and below world dungeon is a fine place to cast your players to the inevitable unspeakable corruption.

10/10 spellburn. Would Invoke Patron again..

A somewhat more old school take on RQ - BUT with all the flavour of Glorantha. If you wanted to entangle with Beast Valley it would be an exemplary place to begin.

This review if for the series (books 1 2 3 so far). Superbly written, and brings great pathos and depth to this rather 'odd duck' aspect of glorantha.

What delights me the most is that it leans into the aspects of ducks that makes them appear on the surface as a foolish addition to a game -' the Cantankerous, almost animated presntation of their personality. But then it builds on that to make it believable, tragic and relatable. A wonderful way to breath life into the old goose yet...

Found a few things in the Soloquest that might use some minor edits. Noticed in the Encounters Index that 'Movement' is not in the Table of contents on page 98. Also the Encounter entries dont list a spot for Total hit points either? That could be useful.

A fine and clear variation on Spell casting for OSE. Makes your wizards a little less feeble at first level - and adds a bit of DCC like corruption spice to the mix.

Recommended if you like the spell casters to have a bit more flavour.

This is an exceptional dark historic demi fantastical rpg. Definitely for mature audiences who like games such as Chaosium family or even Harn. If you are intersted in running true medieval setting where the medieval mindset just also happened to be true. Then this one is for you.
