There's a largevariety here in terms of breadth of christmas lore, and of difficulty and battle styles. The suggested scenarios are very helpful, and some I recognize as references to some other great stories.   FANTASTIC WORK!

This bundle of festive friends & foes comes with multiple story hooks for all your holiday adventuring in D&D5e. It has heart, good humour, & great art. I loved the Electrum Dragon (Electrum is so underused! If we have gold, bronze & silver dragons, OF COURSE we have electrum Dragons!) The theming of it is so brilliant and cheerful. This collection allows you to combine characters’ stories for a truly lively, original game filled with new twists on old folkloric elements. The Gilded Treant would be a true surprise for any player in a magical forest. I especially enjoyed the hilarious names for the Yule Lads. Truly brought Christmas cheer (and fear!)

From the amazing artwork and aesthetic to the functional and fun-filled stat-blocks, Twelve Christmas Slays is a delightful guide that provides fun twists on classic Christmas characters. I enjoy the inclusion of both good and bad characters and the exciting adventure hook ideas. One part of the adventure hooks that I really like is that they have variety - like working with Santa to save Christmas or having to stop a cursed Santa from wreaking havoc.

The abilities that each of the monsters have are both functional and fun. I was delighted to find an evil Christmas tree greedy for ornaments! Aspects of the lore behind the creatures are incorporated as playable features. For instance, the Grumbler - a hat-tip to the Grinch - has the Stink, Stank, Stunk feature which references the classic song and has a chance to poison nearby creatures with the Grumbler's stink.

From the shining example of festive cheer that is the electrum dragon, Santa Claus and white elephant to the unholy humbugs of the gilded treat, grumbler and Krampus, and the queen of the in between, Jacquie Frost, this is a supplement filled with the spirit of the season! The tongue-in-cheek Holiday cheer will be enforced by the snowman-at-arms if necessary!

With such thoughtful and fun hooks as gift-wrapping presents for a demanding dragon, an incongruous team up with Krampus to save Santa Claus or wrangling or even redeeming unruly Yule lads, rich and creamy lore and truly gorgeous and playful artwork this is truly the gift that keeps on giving!

The jolly spirit of Christmas is in this product. 12 Christmas-themed monsters/creatures! The monster statblocks and their features are well-designed, fitting thematically to Christmas. The layout is really good, making the product easily readable and interesting to look at ('tho I'd prefer if it has bookmarks, even though there are not a lot of pages). The art is the best thing about this product, ranging from cute-looking to amazing. Also, if you're not a fan of slaying these monsters, then you can totally include them to be your PC's friends or allies!

12 Cristmas Slays is a well-formatted, interesting work which includes 12 well-designed and creative Christmas-themed Monsers. The stat blocks are easy to follow and provide unique, thematic abilities like the White Elephant's "steal gift" ability. And each of the twelve monsters if given not only the traditional fluf and lore, but also a set of Adventure Hooks suggesting creative ways to incorporated these creatures into campaigns. As a lover of incorportating myth and legend into my games, I particularly like how the creatures come from various cultural backgrounds and then play with our traditional understanding. Santa Clause, for instance, retains a his traditional red suited style while turning into a dwarf instead of the human or elf that people tend to ascribe to him, and he weilds a candycane staff. The ellusive "Jack Frost" became "Jacque Frost" and weilds not only frost, but also fire in a delightful twist.
